OnePlus has always amazed us, and now, the brand is back with a new flagship device, the OnePlus 5.

In China, the number 4 is considered to be unlucky, which could be the reason for them skipping the OnePlus 4. In a report, though, the company confirmed that the OP 5 is a tribute to former NBA player Robert Horry, who wore the number 5 jersey. Why? Because several OnePlus employees are his fans, which is pretty adorable.

Now let’s break down what we know about the phone.

It comes with a repositioned speaker and a slimmer body, and boasts of a 5.5-inch QHD 2K display, which is four times that of its predecessor.

It also comes with the most powerful Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 835 octa-core, and a 3600mAh battery with Dash Charging 2.0. You can choose between 6 and 8GB RAM, and between mammoth storage options of 128 and 256 GB.

The biggest attraction, to me, is the phone’s 12MP dual camera with RGB Monochrome lenses, and an 8-megapixel shooter on the front.

Following the brand’s trend, the phone will be more reasonably priced, in comparison to brands like Samsung, HTC, and Apple

So if you’re planning to buy a new Android device, it could be wiser to wait a month or two to get your hands on this one.
